Nissan heads to Tokyo Auto Salon 2026
YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan and Nissan Motorsports & Customization Co., Ltd. (NMC) will showcase a wide array of Nissan innovation and customization at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 from January 9 to January 11 at Makuhari Messe.
During the show, Nissan will unveil a special NISMO concept model, feature several displays including upcoming vehicles, customized cars and more. Visitors can browse a wide selection of Nissan and NISMO merchandise for sale in the booth.
During the show, Nissan will livestream event talk shows and more for fans online. Details and scheduling will be announced soon.
The Nissan booth is located in Hall 2 (West Hall), No. 217.
Vehicles on display
NISMO Concept Model
A NISMO concept model will make its debut at the show. More details to be unveiled during Nissan’s press conference on January 9.
Fairlady Z
The refreshed Fairlady Z, scheduled for release in Japan in summer 2026, will feature new design styling aimed at increasing aerodynamic performance. In pursuit of driving excitement and performance, the NISMO MT, a new Z NISMO option featuring a manual transmission, will be offered for customers looking for a heightened driving experience.

X‑Trail Rock Creek Multibed Wildplay
Based on the Rock Creek edition X‑Trail and tapping into the models “tough gear” DNA, the X‑Trail Rock Creek Multibed Wildplay was designed to fit perfectly in the great outdoors. It comes equipped with a custom rugged exterior and interior, waterproof seats and features attractive outdoor-themed accessory packages to support camping excursions. More details will be announced on January 7, 2026.
Nissan LEAF AUTECH
The all-new LEAF joins the lineup of AUTECH models with a sporty yet luxurious exterior and interior materials with an artisan’s touch that transforms the cabin space.
Matchy’s March
A special Nissan March purchased by Masahiko “Matchy” Kondo, Team Director of Kondo Racing, will be on display. Nicknamed “Matchy’s March,” the car was restored by students at Nissan Automobile College and features a refreshed exterior and manual transmission conversion.
MOTUL AUTECH GT‑R (2016 Super GT season)
On display in honor of Tsugio Matsuda’s retirement from driving in SUPER GT after the 2025 season, the MOTUL AUTECH GT‑R makes a special appearance in the Nissan booth. During the 2016 Super GT season, Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli won the first two races in the GT500 class at Okayama and Fuji, achieving back-to-back victories.
