New Factory Custom Paint And Graphics
The most notable update to the 2025 Harley-Davidson touring bike range is the addition of factory custom paint and graphics options. Barring the Road King Special, all other models unveiled to date are offered with two distinctive paint options. Mystic Shift offers a cool hue, shifting from a dark gunmetal shade to purple to blue and then a tinge of orange. Whereas, Firestorm is offered in two variations—Midnight and Whiskey Firestorm.
Both these custom paint options consist of a cool flame scheme with a brighter inner glow. This layout deploys a “ghost fade” effect in which the fade color is slightly brighter than the base coat. This gives it a vibrant outlook that elevates these bikes’ custom visual appeal. Midnight Firestorm consists of a dark flamed paint scheme with charcoal inner glow flames layered over a vivid black base coat. The Whiskey Firestorm flaunts a bright orange inner glow with Ember Sunglo ghost flames.

Street Glide And Road Glide Get New Colors
Apart from the cool new custom paint job options, Harley-Davidson has also showered the standard color palettes for all its touring motorcycles with fresh shades. The mile-munching duo of Street Glide and Road Glide gets a total of six new shades. But it also loses out on two interesting shades that were offered for 2024. The one that we will miss the most is the soothing Sharkskin Blue. The most expensive new color options are the $2,900 Firestorm shades, followed by Mystic Shift.

No Mechanical Changes For Both The Glides
The 2025 Street Glide and Road Glide continue to constitute the absolute best highway baggers without the CVO badges. These two touring Harleys differ in fairing design and have slightly different rider triangles. But both are designed for supreme long-haul comfort. Powering these two top-spec Harley tourers is the famed 117 V-Twin that produces over 100 horses and 130 pound-feet of torque. Technology features continue to be top-spec with a huge 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen being the window to controlling its various infotainment and assistive features on the road.

Road King Special Gets A New Color
The 2025 Road King Special gets one new color but loses out on two shades from 2024. Adding more vibrance for 2025 is the Whiskey Fire shade, which is a $700 option. Visually, it continues to be a gorgeous classic-vibing Harley that is simple yet sophisticated. Its sharp-looking hard saddles go surprisingly well with its bulbous and muscular design.

No Mechanical Changes For The Road King Special
At the heart of the 2025 Road King Special remains the popular air-cooled 114 V-Twin that produces 122 pound-feet of torque. This is ample to cement its laid-back long-haul nature. Cleverly hidden under its old-school design is a slew of cool technology features. It includes a Reflex Defensive Rider System (RDRS) that includes ABS, traction control, and even Drag-Torque Slide Control tech. The Road King Special, owing to its relatively barebone design, has a pretty low curb weight of 807 pounds, among the current wave of 2025 Harley-Davidson touring bikes.

2025 Harley-Davidson Trike Range Receive Visual Updates
Trikes are some of the biggest Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles. The addition of an extra wheel elevates the comfort, technology, and storage space notably. The curb weight is off the charts, too, with all Harley-Davidson trikes weighing well over 1,000 pounds. For 2025, these heavyweights receive new colors.
Given the notably larger surface area, these three-wheeled Harleys are the best showcase of the new shades. Our favorite addition is the Iron Horse Metallic/Vivid Black shade exclusively for the Tri Glide Ultra. This $2,000 option gives the most expensive Harley-Davidson trike a unique sinister. The Whiskey Firestorm color option is reserved for the Road Glide 3 only, meanwhile.

No Mechanical Changes For The 2025 HD Trikes
No major mechanical tweaks are present on the three-wheeled Harleys whatsoever. Fusing old-school charm and meaty torque, performance is courtesy of the popular 114 V-Twin. This twin-cooled unit produces 90 horsepower in the Freewheeler and Road Glide 3 models. The top-spec Tri Glide Ultra gets three extra horses. Torque ratings are also marginally higher for the Tri Glide Ultra. But given the insane heft of over 1,200 pounds, its added performance numbers make little to no difference.
