Every Harley-Davidson Touring Bike Available In 2025

The American market is replete with touring-capable bikes, mostly by Harley-Davidson. It has a rather outsized footprint in the genre only matched by Indian. With good reason, too, since touring bikes are good not just for long trips, but also short trips, weekenders, grocery-getting, and as an everyday
commuter
. In short, touring models are very versatile and have no shortage of uses.
In general, touring bikes come built on a wider and heavier frame with fat front forks, some sort of pilot protection, and a set of stock saddlebags. All the better if it has a Tour-Pak, though that isn’t necessary as the
baggers
also fall under H-D’s touring classification and fit with the general use of the “tour” term as a whole. There can be exceptions to the rule, of course, as you’ll soon see, though the baggage and pilot protection remain pillars of the genre. H-D touring models can be quite pricey, especially once you get into the top-tier machines with all the doo-dads you can imagine.
To give you the most up-to-date and accurate information possible, the data used to compile this article was sourced from Harley-Davidson. Sorted by price, the models and information are current as of the time of this writing. Also, the CVO Road Glide RR has been skipped here because of its insane MSRP. That’s also a track bike first, touring bike second.

Low Rider ST
Price: $24,199
The first tour-capable bike isn’t even actually a touring bike by H-D’s definition. But it’s a tour bike-lite disguised as a cruiser. The
Low Rider ST
is based on the ’83-to-’92 FXRT/ FXRP. This model is built on the FXST platform to fit with Harley’s Softail-ification of its entire cruiser lineup, so it has the narrow Softail frame and a narrow front end. The front fairing is a large, bullet-style structure with generous ventilation to smooth out the edges of the pocket and relieve the vacuum behind the fairing.
It comes paired with side-opening panniers to complete the touring-lite equipment and lend it a similar utility, though on a somewhat smaller scale. Back up in the cockpit, a short-rise handlebar and high-rise risers complete the West Coast vibe. Power comes from a
Milwaukee-Eight
117 HO engine, with a Heavy Breather, exposed-element, high-volume intake filter for efficient induction. Ride Modes come along with
Cornering-Enhanced ABS
, Drag-Torque Slip Control, and Traction Control for a top-shelf electronics suite.

Road King Special
Price: $25,749
H-D’s
Road King Special
from its FLH family is another odd bird of sorts. It’s the type of old school touring bike, back when the most protection you could expect up front was a windshield. Still, it’s built on the heavy touring frame with a large-diameter and visually fat front end that supports a nacelle around the headlight. Two-up seating comes stock with a low-profile pillion pad and fold-up footpegs, and, of course, the stock locking saddlebags add storage to make them useful.
Said bags have a bit of stretch to the bottom-rear corner with ample blackout coverage to give the Road King Special a showroom-custom look. The Milwaukee-Eight 114 drives the Road Thing with decent power and a torque that maxes out at a low 2,750 RPM, which indicates a torquey engine that pulls from just above idle. ABS and Electronic Linked Brakes come stock, but you can get the full range of cornering-enhanced goodies from the optional equipment list for the ultimate in ride-control security.

Street Glide
Price: $27,749
The
H-D Street Glide
rolls with more complete protection for the pilot and pillion than the Road King Special. The batwing fairing mounts to the forks, so it turns with them and adds a little wind influence to the steering. The fairing is an updated version that now carries the turn signals as LED lightbars recessed in the fairing, which is much cleaner than the old bullet-style blinkers. A broad vent joins the floating windshield for smooth air flow at the top of the pocket to mitigate the wearisome head-buffet effect.
The cockpit is clean with a color TFT instrument panel, a pair of speakers, and mirrors tucked behind the tips of the bat’s wings, and the tank console is blank with a fuel door in it. Top-loading, lockable saddlebags add significant storage to complete the touring gear. H-D ups the ante with its Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine that’s more performance-oriented than usual for a base-model tour bike, but that’s a sign of H-D’s increasing focus on being competitive on the world stage like no time in recent history. Infotainment features join with the full range of cornering-enhanced ride-control systems to complete the package.

Road Glide
Price: $27,999
The 2025
Road Glide
from H-D’s Grand American Touring line serves as the base model for the sharknose bikes. This thing has more of a West Coast vibe with its ape-hanger handlebars, chrome trim package, and sporty smoked windscreen. Like the
Street Glide
equivalent, it rocks an electronic cockpit with recessed speakers, while the tank console is pretty much just a fancy fueling port cover. Two-up seating comes stock, and this time, the pillion pad is nice and thick for passenger comfort. Top-loading saddlebags come stock to complete the touring gear.
A powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine delivers the goods with plenty of power to hurl it down the road. A trio of Ride Modes join with Cornering-Enhanced Traction Control, Drag-Torque Slip Control, and
ABS
for a well-rounded rider safety net. Meanwhile, the infotainment system makes sure you never get lost or miss a call, and always have enough tunes to go around.

Street Glide Ultra
Price: $30,749
The
Street Glide Ultra
is a second-tier machine built on the Street Glide platform, but goes full dresser with its appointments. The new batwing fairing leads the way with its sharp LED lightbar-type blinkers up front, but this one carries a tall clear windshield for good visibility and maximum protection. Fairing lowers extend the protection down the legs to give you a good chance of avoiding much of the incoming weather.
The cockpit sports a huge TFT screen that acts as the instrumentation hub and electronics interface all in one, with mirrors outboard at the tips of the wings, and speakers in between. The pillion pad is both thick and wide for comfort, with a broad backrest that cradles your riding partner. Locking bags are joined by a Tour-Pak that adds to its utility significantly, no matter your purpose. The Milwaukee-Eight 117 helps keep things fun and the performance relatively high.

CVO Road Glide ST
Price: $44,999
The
Road Glide ST
from Harley’s Custom Vehicle Operations division takes things up a notch or two. Looks wise, it remains much the same as its less-noble siblings with the sharknose fairing, short-vented windscreen, and stock lockable saddlebags. Of course, the colorways and graphics package add some variety. A forged carbon-fiber fender and tail cover add to the exotic finish, and it comes with liberal blackout coverage for some custom flavor.
This bike brings the smoke with a
Milwaukee-Eight 121
Hight Output engine that puts up some serious performance figures. It rocks race-oriented electronics with the new Track and Track+ modes that let you push the envelope to its limit, plus it comes with cornering Traction Control, ABS, Linked Brakes, and Drag-Torque Slip Control systems.

CVO Street Glide
Price: $45,999
H-D brings the Street Glide up a notch with the CVO treatment for its
CVO Street Glide
model. Like its siblings, it pushes the batwing fairing in the sportier fashion with low smoked glass, short vertical height, and ample through-fairing ventilation. The cockpit is equally clean with its color TFT instrument screen, speakers, and outboard mirrors.
A two-up seat and fold-up footpegs come stock along with the lockable saddlebags and two speakers for a total of four drivers. The super-spicy Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 comes with a variable valve-timing feature that helps deepen the torque well without sacrificing top-end power for a torquey kind of performance. It comes with the full range of electronics to include the lean-sensitive variety of all its major systems.

CVO Road Glide
Price: $45,999
To tie the CVO Street Glide in price, the
CVO Road Glide
version rolls for the same price. H-D was going for a West Coast performance look here with its skinny front fender, short smoked glass, and ape-hanger handlebar. The cockpit remains the same with the massive color TFT screen, mirrors, and speakers that are doubled up by the pair of cones in the lids of the stock saddlebags for surround sound on the road. A thick pillion pad and fold-up footpegs complete the passenger’s amenities.
Power comes from the Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121. The Variable Valve Timing adds more torque down low without sacrificing horsepower at the top end, so you get the best of both worlds. It comes with full infotainment support and all that entails, along with all the ride-control electronics The MoCo can bring to bear.
