Ford announced that US shoppers can purchase vehicles for cheaper after launching a pilot program called From America, For America, as reported by Fox News.

Starting April 3, drivers can buy Ford vehicles for the price that a Ford employee would normally pay.

The promotion will go on until June 2.

“We understand that these are uncertain times for many Americans,” Ford said in a statement.

“Whether it’s navigating the complexities of a changing economy or simply needing a reliable vehicle for your family, we want to help.”

“We have the retail inventory to do this and a lot of choice for customers that need a vehicle,” they added.

A Ford spokesperson told Fox News that the amount consumers would pay for a new car is below the dealer invoice price.

There are a number of Ford models that are part of the deal including 2024 and 2025 hybrid, plug-in hybrid, diesel, and gas-powered vehicles.

The deal does not include the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs or the Raptors and Super Duty trucks.

Shoppers who purchase an electric vehicle through Ford’s Power Promise will also be gifted a home charger and standard installation.

The automaker’s Power Promise program demonstrates its commitment to help provide customers with electric vehicles.

The complimentary home charger and installation are intended to help make owning an electric vehicle easy.

With the EV revolution, many automakers are introducing new electric models to consumers.

While some car companies are embracing the shift to electric vehicles, others are worried about whether drivers will make the switch.

This comes after the automaker recalled over 30,000 Ford vehicles last week.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a recall on Ford’s 2020 to 2022 Escape and 2021 to 2023 Bronco Sport.

These models could have been incorrectly repaired after a prior recall, meaning the “underlying condition” may still exist.

The recall report stated that drivers who own these models could face a serious fire risk and should take their vehicles to a Ford dealership.

Ford did not immediately reply to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
