Ultraviolette teases new range of electric motorcycles, scooters ahead of debut on March 5 – Bike News

Ultraviolette is setting benchmarks when it comes to performance in the electric two-wheeler space. While the F77 is the fastest electric motorcycle on Indian roads, the F99 prototype is breaking all records on closed circuits. Ultraviolette is now looking to expand its lineup beyond the F77 and introduce a more diverse range of products in the future.

The Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer has teased its upcoming range of products, albeit in concept form, which will make their debut on 5 March 2025. The new lineup will comprise five different styles of motorcycles and one scooter. All these models will be launched in the span of the next two years.

Speaking on the development, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO  & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette said, “Our journey with the F77 was just the beginning. Over the past seven years, our unwavering focus on research and development has been instrumental in developing the technology for vertical integration across core systems such as Battery technology, Powertrain, and Safety systems.”

The teaser image suggests that Ultraviolette is working two naked streetfighters, one adventure tourer, one sports tourer, one cruiser, and one Maxi-style scooter. The company, however, is yet to divulge any significant detail or specification of the upcoming battery-powered two-wheelers. That said, we can expect them to share components like battery packs and motors with the existing F77.

Ultraviolette recent developments

Ultraviolette recently launched a new derivative of the F77. Called the F77 Superstreet, this version of the electric sports bike is available in two variants – standard and Recon priced at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively. The Superstreet offers different riding ergonomics as compared to the regular F77 which are tuned more towards city riding.

The Ultraviolette F77 Superstreet is equipped with a 7.1kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 211km on a full charge. It is powered by a Permanent Magnet AC Motor that generates 36.2PS and 90Nm of torque, enabling the bike to reach a top speed of 155kmph. The F77 Superstreet is said to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 7.8 seconds.

Meanwhile, the F77 Superstreet Recon features a larger 10.3kWh battery, delivering a claimed range of 323km. While it shares the same motor, it produces a higher output of 40.2PS and 100Nm of torque. Despite having the same top speed as the standard model, the Recon variant is slightly quicker, achieving 0-100kmph in 7.7 seconds and 0-40kmph in just 2.7 seconds.
