Your guide to the 2025 Chrome & Ice Winter Indoor Car Show in Flint

FLINT, MI – The 10th Annual Chrome & Ice Winter Indoor Car Show returns to Flint this weekend, featuring a variety of vehicles, entertainment, a pageant and more at Dort Financial Center.

Chrome & Ice 2025 takes place Friday, Feb. 7, through Sunday, Feb. 9, at the event venue, 3501 Lapeer Road. Registration for the car show, organized by the Back to the Bricks team, remains open.

Here’s what’s on tap for the three-day event:

Theme and displays:

This year’s event will feature race cars in the lobby, a display on ice and additional exhibits.

Vehicle showcases:

Classic and custom vehicles, sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and trucks will be displayed throughout two arenas, hallways, and the mezzanine.

Professional judging and awards:

Participants can opt to have their vehicles judged professionally, with award categories including:

    • Best of Show
    • Best Exterior
    • Best Interior
    • Best Engine
    • Best Truck
    • One Fine Ride (Judges’ Award)

In addition, vehicles not entered for professional judging are eligible for the Top 10 Spectator Awards announced on Sunday.

Additional Features:

  • Over 50 sponsors and automotive-related vendor displays
  • Live entertainment and demonstrations
  • Concessions and family-friendly activities
  • The Miss Chrome & Ice 2025 Pageant, with adult and children’s categories, supporting the Back to the Bricks Youth Scholarship Fund

Event Schedule:

  • Friday, Feb. 7: Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 8: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Feb. 9: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Awards ceremony: 2:30 p.m.

Ticket Information:

  • General Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for kids and teens ages 12 to 17, and free for children under 12
  • Parking: $5 at the Dort Financial Center gates

Participant Registration Packages:

  • High Octane ($75): Includes weekend parking, two lanyards, two collector T-shirts, two catered lunches, car placard, and morning coffee/snacks.
  • Premium ($65): Similar to High Octane but with one T-shirt.
  • Unleaded ($55): Designed for single participants with one lanyard, one T-shirt, one lunch, car placard, and morning coffee/snacks.

Additional items like extra T-shirts, lanyards, and lunches are available for purchase.

Vendor Registration:

Vendor space is limited, and registration is open. Selected vendors will be notified via email. Booths must remain open until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Past Winner Highlight:

Art Noey of Saginaw won Best in Show at the 2024 Chrome & Ice event with his 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne.

Proceeds from Chrome & Ice and the VIP Experience support the Back to the Bricks Youth Scholarship Fund.
