How to watch Challenge Mallorca: Streams, TV channels
We’ve already had a touch of racing in Spain but Challenge Mallorca is a traditional European season curtain raiser, with the men’s races dominating this week after the women’s event largely took place last week. Challenge Mallorca is a series of back-to-back one-day races, rather than a stage race (so no general classification and riders can come and go), with the men’s event comprising five races from Wednesday January 29 to Sunday February 2.
How to watch Challenge Mallorca in the UK
Discovery+ is the place to go to watch Challenge Mallorca in the UK.
Discovery+ is the streaming home of the Eurosport TV channels and they have every single men’s and women’s Challenge Mallorca race this week, along with a wealth of cycling rights.
You’ll need the ‘standard’ Discovery+ subscription, which costs £6.99 a month.
How to watch Challenge Mallorca in the US
In the US, fans can choose between Flobikes and Max to watch the Challenge Mallorca.
Flobikes is a streaming service dedicated to cycling, where subscriptions cost $29.99 a month but fall to $12.50 a month if you commit to a full year.
Max, which is operated by Warner Bros. Discovery, came along in 2024 with a raft of new cycling rights for the US market, and opens its 2025 coverage with all Challenge Mallorca races. You’ll need a base subscription, which starts from $9.99 a month, plus the B/R Sports add-on, which is $9.99 a month but free for a limited time.
Challenge Mallorca: Watch for free in Spain
Fans in the race’s home country of Spain can watch the 2025 Challenge Mallorca for free thanks to public broadcaster RTVE.
The races won’t all make it to RTVE’s sports TV channel, Teledeporte, channel but will be available to watch online on the RTVE Playstreaming platform – you need to register but the service is free.
If you’re based in Spain but are outside the country when the races are on, you’ll need a VPN, such as NordVPN, to watch the Challenge Mallorca races.

Watch cycling from anywhere
Away from home when the races are on? That doesn’t mean you have to miss out…
Many streaming platforms these days are geo-restricted, meaning they’ll only work in certain countries, but assistance is on hand, in the form of a VPN. A Virtual Private Network – to use the full name – is a piece of software that lets you alter your device’s IP address to make it appear to be in any country in the world, therefore unblocking the streaming services you use back home.
It’s great for watching cycling on the move, and the added benefit is that VPNs provide a huge boost to your internet security. Our colleagues over at TechRadar know everything there is to know about VPNs and they rate NordVPN as the best VPN out there right now.

How to watch the AlUla Tour
The Middle East is home to a range of early-season racing, starting with the men’s AlUla Tour, which spans five stages from Tuesday January 28 to Saturday February 1.
AlUla Tour free stream among TV options
There is free live streaming for the AlUla Tour, with Australian public broadcaster SBS kicking off its 2025 cycling calendar with the race. Coverage starts at 10.30pm AEDT each day.

How to watch Cyclocross World Championships 2025
Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel are both in action this weekend for the high-point of the cyclocross campaign: the 2025 UCI Cyclocross World Championships. Racing begins on Friday January 31 with the team relay, ahead of the Elite Women’s race on Saturday February 1 and the Elite Men’s race on Sunday January 2.
Cyclocross World Championships – free live streams
Many cyclo-cross fans will have grown familiar to the free stream on the UCI YouTube channel throughout the 2024/25 World Cup campaign, but that does not extend to the World Championships – at least not fully. The UCI did show the Team Relay for free there last year, and that event isn’t being picked up by international broadcasters, so it could well be the case again, but there is no planned free stream on YouTube for the Elite races.
Fans in certain countries can still watch the 2025 Cyclocross World Championships for free. In Belgium, the Elite races are being shown on both free-to-air public broadcasters – VRT in the Flemish-speaking north and RTBF in the French-speaking south. Both will make the action available on their streaming platforms – VRT Max and Auvio, respectively, which are both free to use with a registration.
The same goes for NOS in the Netherlands and its streaming service NPO Start. In France, meanwhile, the races will be shown on L’Equipe TV, which can be accessed for free if you’re not watching football.
Don’t forget, if you’re travelling outside your home country you can still access your usual streams by using a VPN, such as NordVPN.
Where to watch Cyclocross World Championships in the UK
Fans in the UK can, as ever, watch Cyclocross World Championships 2025 on Eurosport and Discovery+.
The Elite races will go out on TV on Eurosport 2, while all the main races – excluding Team Relay – will be streamed online on Discovery+.
The standard Discovery+ subscription costs £6.99 a month and gets you a wealth of live races.
Where to watch Cyclocross World Championships in the US and Canada
Cycling streaming platform Flobikes is the US and Canadian broadcaster for the 2025 Cyclocross World Championships.
A Flobikes subscription costs $29.99 a month or $12.50 a month if you sign up for a year

How to watch Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in the UK
This one’s for the hardcore fans, but Discovery+ is once again the place to watch Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in the UK.
You’ll need the standard subcription (£6.99 a month) and you’ll need to be awake from 4am – 6am GMT for the women’s race on Saturday and 2.30am – 5am GMT for the men’s race on Sunday.
How to watch Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in the US
Flobikes has the rights to both the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Races. Coverage starts at 11pm ET for the women’s race on Saturday and a more palatable 9.30pm ET for the men’s race on Sunday.
How to watch the GP La Marseillaise
Last but not least, it’s the French one-day race, Grand Prix La Marseillaise, on Sunday February 2.
We’ll keep this one brief, but you’ll find it on Discovery+ in the UK, and on Flobikes and Max in the US/Canada. There is a GP La Marseillaise free stream in France, with local arms of France 3 showing the race.
You can get those on the FranceTV streaming platform (free but with registration) or direct via web-browser without signup – France 3 (PACA) / France 3 Aquitaine. Coverage is geo-restricted so, as ever, those based in France who are travelling abroad would need to use a VPN, such as NordVPN, to still get their access.
